This is a request from an in law.

I am looking for the parish register record of this marriage for the name of parents if  present. He was born in the workhouse and there were two john Duffys born there that year

Maud Oscroft - 21 - father - John - Labourer

Thomas and Catherine Leatherbarrow were the witnesses.

1911 census shows that John Oscroft and his wife Louisa had been married for 21 years, and had 10 children, of whom 9 were still living.  Image on FindMyPast.  Family also shown on 1921 census, again FindMyPast.
