Graveyard Records Paisley

Where would I be able to get a note of a grave number in Paisley for someone who died 1920's 30's?
Where I live I can go to my local Heritage centre and trace ancestors grave numbers.

In Scotland most graveyards/cemetris/burial grounds are managed by the local council, and they will know who manages any others, so the council is always the first port of call.

In this case, Renfrewshire Council https://www.renfrewshire.gov.uk/article/2552/Cemeteries - scroll down to 'Checking cemetery records'.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

In Paisley, there are two main cemeteries - Woodside and Hawkhead. I believe Hawkhead is run by Renfrewshire Council, however, Woodside is privately owned and has been for sometime. Woodside has historical records online on their website although I'm not sure what date they go to.

Just to let you know I found my grandparents graves. They are in Hawkhead cemetery in Paisley.

On the topic of Paisley area graveyard/cemetery records .... my gr-gr-grandmother died in a rooming house at age 32 in 1881. She would have been a pauper, I'm sure. Anyone know where the county would bury indigent people? I'm sure there is no marker, but maybe records were kept as to which plot or area where someone was interred. She died in Neilston (next door to Paisley) and had no family.

to ( LADY K ) do you have all the information for her. full date of death and he job. and her parents. or are you just wanting to know where her grave would be.

If you died as a pauper in Neilston in 1881, you would have been buried in a pauper's grave or public grave within the local parish churchyard or an emerging public cemetery. These were common, unmarked plots where multiple bodies could be interred, and they were funded by the local parish or authorities.

 Neilston cemetery opened in 1875 to replace the burial ground around the parish church
