William Thomas Ruabon MI

Hi,

Does anyone have a copy of the St. Mary's, Ruabon, monumental inscriptions, and if so could they check to see if there is a particular memorial recorded?

I'm looking for William Thomas, who lived in Bank Street, Ponciau (Ponkey). He died there on the 30th of May 1853, aged 63, and he was buried at Ruabon on the 2nd of June.

I have two main points of interest - who else is buried with him, and the location of the grave in the churchyard.

If anyone can help it would be great. A descendant of William's is over from the US at the moment and will be visiting the area over the next couple of days, and she particularly wants to be able to see the grave if possible.

Cheers,

Keith.
