court records, 1916, poisoning at Kensington
« on: Monday 29 July 24 04:32 BST (UK) »
Dear researchers,

I would like to know if records of this court case are available...

In 1916, a chemist accidentally dispensed poison and as a result, my grandmother and another woman died.

I know there was no imprisonment and the incident was considered an accident, but i would still like to read the record, if that is possible.

Thanks,

Bea.

I presume you have read the newspaper accounts?  They are probably as full a record as you could expect to get. I think.

Thanks, yes I read the account in the Times, it only mentioned the decision at the end of the article, and then briefly.

Thanks for the response. Bea

More thanks offered. The second account reports directly on the inquest, and the three articles I have read are all similar.

My mother and her siblings were young and so protected from the details. I am glad to have finally discovered what happened.
