Many thanks to all who have posted. Sarah's brother John was buried in Kings Cross too, but their Parents where buried in Rastrick, so it hasnt been just one place, but different churchyards/cemeteries.  I will applying for their death certs in due course.

That was very interest information on Edwin's job, which I only knew from the 1851 census return.

Just checking - do you know you can buy a digital copy of each death cert for £3?

Thank you, Yes I do know about the digital copies, they are very helpful and are very quick to arrive. I am ordering Edwin's and Sarah's and will post in due course.

As promised;
Sarah died on 27/10/1879 at Hopwood lane, Halifax. Age 63, widow of Edwin Halliwell, Shoemaker. Cause of death was Probably Heart disease. Thomas Halliwell (son) was informant, he lived at 17, Square Rd, Halifax.

Edwin's is slightly cut off, so I cant read it properly.
Edwin Halliwell died May 1875, 10, Prince street, Halifax. Age 61. Shoe maker. Died from ..... 6years. Informant was Son .....12, little Albion street, Halifax.
