References to "Henshop, Dyffryn", "Henshop Dyffryn Aderdudwy" in the newspapers. Dyffryn a stone's throw from Llanenddwyn.

Trust we are not talking Dyffryn, Cardiff. What is the Reg District on birth certificate?

Do you have access to Anc?  This is the Henshop in 1871 in Llanenddwyn  https://www.rootschat.com/links/01tbm/

Henshop is literally Hen Siop meaning old shop ! I'mm sure practically every town, village and hamlet has one or something similar.
