Baptisms Horsforth or Hunslet?

Can anyone clarify my problem.  I have a number of Baptisms across 2 generations of a family which seem to be recorded at both Horsforth, Leeds and Hunslet, Leeds.  Although they are both Leeds, they are north and south of the city as it is now.  I am using Ancestry and think there may have been a mix-up with the scans or pages.

Thomas Rider 3 June 1754 son of John - halfway down left page - Scan heading Horsforth turn back 1 page and there is a completely different handwriting. The other result is clearly Hunslet - label on the scan itself
Martha Rider 8 June 1772 father John - scan heading Horsforth, again turn back one page and a completely different hand,   The other result has the scan heading Leeds with the page clearly labelled Hunslet

Ann Maria Rider 10 Jun 1787 father Jonathan - Scan heading Horsforth.  Unfortunately no scan but the result from Select Births give Hunslet as the Baptism place.  However, this lady does give Horsforth as her place of birth on the 1851 census (Ann Jagger).

All the baptisms were in Hunslet. Hunslet was originally in the parish of Leeds (the parish church - St Peter), and although it had become a parish in its own right in 1719, entries were still copied into the St Peter's registers for some time afterwards.

For the 1754 and 1772 baptisms, the fact that they were copied into the Leeds registers and headed up as having taken place in Hunslet is in itself pretty conclusive, but the reference at the foot of the images that Ancestry have labelled Horsforth is also evidence of this. "P44" (now "RDP44") is the prefix used for Hunslet parishes, whereas Horsforth is P43/RDP43. These reference numbers can be found in WYAS's guide to parish registers:

For the 1787 baptism there's no corresponding entry at St Peter's, but the image has the same P44 reference, so that will be Hunslet too.

The bottom line is that in all of these cases, the images for those particular years are a mixture of Horsforth and Hunslet (look at the P43/P44 at the bottom). I suspect this might have happened long before Ancestry obtained the rights to the images, but you surely can't be the first person to notice it. Maybe someone at WYAS would know more?

Many thanks for that.  That was what I thought/hoped.  Of course when 'hope' enters the equation, you have to question your initial thoughts.
