Location immaterial - would still be on the GRO index & there’s no marriage to a Hannah

I checked Scotlands People but no marriage in Scotland so I think they married in the USA

Hopefully we'll have answers to Reply #4.

In the meantime, it's odd that Hannah's maiden name isn't on the Naturalization petition records.
Most US Naturalization records I've seen indicate the wife's maiden name. Perhaps they weren't married.

Long shot, I’m trying to work off an iPhone and it’s hopeless. One of Johns declarations records Hannah with a dob 10.7.1887 born Liverpool. There is a birth of a Hannah Richardson with same dob, Liverpool, parents William and Louisa, occupation gas fitter, abode duke st

SS

Can anyone find this family later? I couldn’t when I looked earlier.

Just a quick note to say many thanks to everyone for your interest and helpful replies.  I've gone round in circles on Ancestry, Family Search, Lancashire OPC etc. but Hannah still remains a mystery.
One record was John Curran Baines 1884-1917 but even the latter date has not turned over the relevant stone  ???

There was a passenger list for an Annie Baines mentioned in a previous thread from years ago - https://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=767843.msg6255143#msg6255143

The address to where she was going in Long Island City seems to fit her address in John's 1924 naturalization record, although apparently Hannah & John were living apart as of 1924.  Looking at the image of the 1911 passenger list, it seems to say she was previously in the US from 1901-1907.

Maybe the marriage record is under Annie/Anna/Ann?

New York Naturalization Records show John Curran Baines of 6 Fulton Street Liverpool emigrated from Southampton to America in 1905.

The record says 6 Fulton Street, New York City not Liverpool
