Rev'd Matthew Wilson

Hoping to find further information about my great, great grandfather, Rev'd Matthew Wilson. Born Bradford UK in1806, died Adelaide 1876. Married Maria Smith in Bradford on 9 September 1835. Left UK on board "The Bencoolen" on 18 November 1835 bound for Tonga as a Methodist Missionary. Ultimately left Tonga and moved to South Australia.

Any further information would be most helpful.

Bradford Observer, Thur 10 Sep 1835

"On Saturday, Mr Matthew Wilson, of this town, book-keeper, to Maria Smith, of the same place"

"On Saturday" and date of publication do not add up to 9 Sep but that's the date on FindMyPast (transcripts only).
