My Heritage: login disabled for suspicious activity.

Anybody else having this problem?

The "contact us" system appears to be a "don't contact us" maze of irrelevance.

Yes, I had this problem last month (thread somewhere) and I still have it. the half wit at my heritage wants me to delete all my cookies which only another halfwit would do. They just didn't seem to understand that I do not want to delete all my cookies. Hundreds of my cookies are essential to the work I do on other websites. Fortunately I use a cookie manager and deleted all starting 'MyHeritage. . . However this did not fix the problem and I now have to use a different browser just for MyHeritage. I normally use chrome, I have now had to use microsoft edge.

I tried explaining why I don't want to delete all my cookies, but all I got were several copies of of the same cut and pasted non-solution.

Do report it yourself, as I'm obviously not alone.

Here's my old thread, https://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?action=post;msg=7570827;topic=884119.0

Thanks Zaph.  I routinely clear my cookies but it has had no effect.

I couldn't see a way to report the problem to MH: how did you manage it?

I'm afraid when I click on the link you posted rootschat returns an error ("an error has occurred".). I'll check back through old posts.

Thanks again Zaph.

I finally got in.  Previously, after being turned away, I changed my password, allowing my browser (Safari) to suggest a "strong" one, but was once more turned away.  I got in by changing it again to a short, much more simple one.
