George was a Shoemaker, later Boot Repairer.
Some trees on Ancestry, if correct, have the Stones family going back to 1560, and the Clipsham family back to around 1700.

That’s fantastic my uncle was fostered out when he was a baby as his mum died and never knew his true family.
