Swifts - Butchers
« on: Tuesday 02 July 24 21:57 BST (UK) »
Good evening, I have been looking at the baptist records for Nessie Gertrude Swift, on Cheshire BMD there are two of them one born 1877 Neston and the other 1882 in Neston. I am interested in the 1877 Nessie I found her baptist record and it says that her father was Henry Swift and mother Elizabeth, his occuption was a butcher. It seems that all the Swifts i.e. Pemberton is a common name in the family are butchers.  Anyway I have looked and I can't find a marriage between Henry Swift and Elizabeth. Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thank you
Kind regards
