Angus  Nicolson  was  my  Gr.,Grandfather  and  he  married  a  Margaret  Nicolson (nee Smith).  They  had  children  called  Angus,  David,  Margaret  and  Mary.  Margaret  was  my  Grandmother,  she  got  married  to  my  Grandfather,  John  Hamilton  on  the  27th  September  1889.  Margaret  was  born  25th August  1872  in  Dalmeny  I  think.  I  also  have  a  Dunse  for  David  Kirkliston  For  young  Angus  and  Uphall  for  Mary.  I  think  Angus  senior  would  ahve  been  born  round  about  the  1830's  40's.  I  have  a  Kirknewton  Edinburgh  for  Margaret  senior.  Sorry  I  can't  be  more  definite.  Susan  Hamilton.

I'm descended from an Angus Nicolson b. 1814 in Drumfearn who emigrated to Australia about 1840. His father was John Nicolson b.abt.1786.
