Ancestry Pro
« on: Monday 24 June 24 21:40 BST (UK) »
I just purchased this, thinking it would be very helpful.   I can now see how some of my matches are related to one another - great as far as it goes BUT I've lost all the notes I made for those matches in the process.   Why are they rolling out something that doesn't work?!

Thanks Penholder,
I was just about to ask if anyone had upgraded to Pro and what benifits they had,
                              Don't think I will bother.   :)

I think I went wrong by trying to update my match notes while the Pro matches section was open.     I am now being cautious and copying the notes first, just to be safe.
I have found the extra info regarding relationships is useful, although it seems to be a bit inconsistent, so best to cross-check with other shared matches if there are any.
I still have my coloured dots but Pro gives me coloured squares with the first letter of whatever I've named that cluster of matches.   It's a bit confusing having the two options.   I'm not risking making any changes for the moment.
Hopefully with time these 'bugs' will be sorted out
No brick walls have come tumbing down yet but as always with my research I live in hope!
