Hi all,
I've been trying to find out more about this branch of my family tree, hoping that I'm on the right track!
My 3x GG John McCann was born in Liverpool 1860 and parents from Ireland (no more info other than 'Ireland' on all census records I have for the family).
John's Catholic baptism: 11 Mar 1860 - St Patrick, Liverpool, Lancashire, England. Parents; Patrici Mccann and Catharine Maouns
Patrick and Catherine's Catholic marriage record: 8 May 1859 - St Patrick, Liverpool, Lancashire, England
Catharine Mearnes - Parents; John & Ellen Mearnes
Patrick McCann - Parents; John & Bridget McCann
1861 England Census for Patrick, his wife Catherine their son John, his brother and mother;
Civil parish: Bootle Cum Linacre
County/Island: Lancashire
Patrick Macan - 21
Catherine Macan - 24
John Macann - 1

I was doing some searching on RootsIreland and found a Catholic baptism for a Patrick Mccann - 04 Feb 1841 - Feenagh & Kilmeedy, Co. Limerick
Father: John Mccann
Mother: Bridget Hannahan
Sponsors: Patk. Mcenery & Mary Sheehy
I then found the baptism for his brother John McCann - 24 Jun 1838 - Feenagh & Kilmeedy, Co.Limerick
Father: John Mccann
Mother: Bridget Hanrahan
Sponsors: John Lane & Ellen Lane
This is all I have been able to find so far, if anyone could offer any help it would be much appreciated or if you're also looking for these surnames! Thank you
