On the 28th August, 1837 Richard HOLLAND,a widower of full age, married Elizabeth MARDON at Llangyfelach. He resided at Penllergaer. I am trying to establish if this is the same Richard HOLLAND born at Ellesmere in Shropshire and who later lived in Shrewsbury. Both were bell-hangers, both were married to wives named Elizabeth and the timeframe is a reasonable fit. I am asking if there was a HOLLAND family in Glamorganshire who might have produced this Richard HOLLAND? I am also curious about how common the occupation of bell-hanger was and whether it implied travelling about? I have not seen the original marriage document so asking if someone has access to this please and whether it provides parents' details. Regards, Jennifer
