Tasmanian Chicken.
Four joints of chicken or four breast fillets .
An onion,
1 tin of pineapple ,in syrup but can be juice(.Not a small tin )
Two Table spoons dark soy sauce ,this can be salty so season lightly.
Black pepper.
Juice of one lemon.
Whatever fat you choose ,I use olive oil.
Lightly brown chicken and soften onion.
Put both in ovenproof dish.
Add rest of ingredients ,cover ,cook in a moderate oven for one hour for chunks of chicken but add at least fifteen minutes for joints.
It is nice if thickened slightly with cornflour.

Well at long last a reasonably Summery day ,full sunshine and light breeze only after a rainy start.
Off to Health Centre early,tomorrow,they have once again prescribed the wrong strength of tablet I was told when I phoned to enquire where my overdue tablets ordered a week ago are. I have only two left and despite that I am having to do all the dashing about to rectify someone’s incompetence despite sending my request in good time.
I just get stonewalled , was actually asked who had prescribed them and I should not do that myself !!!!
So for some reason no one has read the letter from The Heart Failure Clinic
giving my details and what drugs have been prescribed.
It is all so time consuming.
As I mentioned to the receptionist today,we are not talking about Arthritis - I know that is very painful but not really life threatening ,you don’t drop dead from it.Whereas heart failure ——
Daughter back from France ,they go each year to Dunkirk ..
Apparently I have many “ doubles” every little old lady with greying hair and glasses Kyra sees as GRANDMA!
Flash Harry had a dressing up day at school ,theme “Australia”, he went as a crocodile , was very shy about being dressed up but ended up being so hilarious - embarrassed really -but entered into the spirit of it all and seemingly was very comical.Was full of himself when he got home.
Kyra now helping Nanny - my daughter - with the shopping ,getting stuff from shelves and into the trolley and then the counter.
Likes to swipe the rewards card.
They are growing up so fast.
