Hi all
I am not finding anything can one of you help please.
My friend is searching for information on his fathers military history. He allegedly was in the army and landed on one of the beaches on D-Day. Details :
Leslie Gordon Eyles
Born December 1924 in Yorkshire
Any help would be gratefully received.

Service records for people serving after 1920 are possibly still with the MOD.

Leslie Gordon Eyles b 1925 Leeds, mothers maiden name Calem.
there's a Leslie Gordon Eyles, living with a Mr William and Mary Lambert 45 mannville way
Keighley in 1939. married Vera Smith 1949. died Leeds 1992. nothing military I'm afraid.
