Baptism for Robert Evan Clayton 15 August 1885 at Mostyn, parents Lewis and Margaret abode Slaghearth.  Unable to find any trace of Slaghearth.  Is anyone able to help please?

A few mentions also of Lewis CLAYTON of "Mostyn Squares" in newspapers. eg sad case of his baby death in 1898 which went to court but was dismissed. Jane PARRY is the child's grandmother.

There is an interesting article in the Cheshire Observer,    Saturday,  Mar. 11, 1899, about the case. Jane PARRY could not speak English (only Welsh) and Margaret CLAYTON said she would rather speak Welsh. Happy to copy the article for you if you'd like.
