can anyone help with a look up please for a E.R. Neale who lived in Leicester at 344 Humberstone Road.

Would be interested in DOB, DOD and any other information possible.

Electoral rolls for Leicester are on FindMyPast.  I have no idea which electorate/s would be applicable at that time.

E.R Neale must have been their after 1939 then.

Certificate would give an address and age.

There are 3 deaths of an Ernest R Neale in other places between 1977-1992, all of which give a date of birth.  (Reading, Nuneaton, Norwich)

Having looked up no 344 it appears to be an address with a number of households in it (described as flats and flatlets), so probably no one connected with your gentlemen was there on that date

Just about to post the same.

The Ernest Raymond Neale who died in Nuneaton district, was living at 15 Kings Newton Street, Leicester, in 1939.

The probate record has the address as 23 Woodley Road, Ratby, Leicester. Died 4th March 1989.

The marriage has a slight spelling error. His wife's name was Goadby.

Two sons registered in Leicester.

There's a Betty R Goadby in Leicester. She doesn;t have a later surname showing on the 1939 register but her year of birth is similar to that of Betty R Neale on electoral registers
