The increased groups is part of the rollout of the enhanced display but it isn't working at present due to a glitch so everyone still has the limit of 24. Ancestry are aware of it and looking at a fix. There is no link between the new display and any subscription and no sub is required in order to access it, some have had it for several weeks, some got it last week, some at the weekend and some are still waiting for it to appear.

Thanks for that, Glen. All very confusing as the increase in groups was originally part of the pro tools promo. Look forward to getting them.

I now can't find how to search messages. Search box has disappeared.

Ancestry support say they have temporarily withdrawn the search facility on messages but it will be restored in the future. No date for that as yet.

I am not sure how the increase in number of groups is meant to work. If you can add an extra 8 groups when subscribed to ProTools, then you stop subscribing to ProTools, do they all get deleted, or do you lose access to the extra 8? That would be very annoying.

How can they suggest a 'potential' mother  for one of my ancestors who was born when said 'mother' would have been in her 60s.

I can't even delete or reject the entry!

Whoever wrote the code obviously didn't know the facts of life  ::)

Sorry - I know this is tree related and not DNA but .....
