Hi everyone, its been a very long time since last posting on here...

I would love to go further with my Irish family history regards my Lahaney family... it stops with my 3rd grandfather, Thomas Lahaney who was born 1839

One of My Lahaney family married a Bridget McCoy of Rosscommen and her father was Patrick McCoy

I will be so grateful if anyone can help me with this

You have posted on the Common Room board & haven't given details of whereabouts in Ireland they were from.  The surname Lahaney does not show up on either the 1901 or 1911 Irish census so can you confirm the spelling

Which member of the Lahaney family married Bridget?  When was the marriage?

In older style handwriting, Lahaney can look like Tahaney. The Tahaney surname is indexed most numerously in Sligo district, County Sligo then  Boyle district, County Roscommon, on IrishGenealogy website. Something to keep in mind.

See also https://www.johngrenham.com/findasurname.php?surname=Tahaney, which highlights some variants.
