Guesses at day of birth
« on: Wednesday 08 May 24 18:48 BST (UK) »
Annoyingly the top of the attached image is cropped making the day of birth unclear. Any suggestions? I have my own guess but won’t say yet unless it prejudices other guesses. Thank you

I'd guess at twentysecond (Wednesday) though the 19th was a Sunday

What about the date that the birth was informed on? That would give you a latest date it could be.

It's definitely  ......second and, given the length of the first part, I'd agree with twenty second.

I would contact the GRO and tell them the image is and so illegible. Hopefully they'd supply another.

Though I agree with Twentysecond ...

Thank you for everyone’s input. 22nd is the consensus. In such instances you can (and I did) get a refund for the digital image. However, rather than being sensible and just telling me the date the only option they offer is to order a PDF copy for £8 instead

That's awful, I don't think SP would be so awkward.
