There are the children I have

Robert BATTLE
1846–1919

Powell Battle
1849–

...

As mentioned before ....
I believe Pole/Powell and Robert are possibly the same person born abt 1848 in Berlin (The important thing is that this location would narrow down your search in Germany!!).
The Battle family in 1851 with only 1 son born in Germany and 1 in England: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:SG1K-14X

If Powell changed his name to Robert, it is possible that dad Robert (b abt 1825/6) might have had a totally different first name as well!

If you are convinced that they Pole and Robert jr are two different people, can you supply the data that you are basing this on?
(NB I can't find Pole after the 1861 census, and can't find Robert jr before his 1869 marriage)

And yes, thats the variants of Hannah's surname I have found on the gro.  However, Im wondering if they have become anglicized as she was born in Poland or Russia

Her surname is most likely anglicized, but it still gives you something to work with. The orginal name could have been something like "Huske(r)", "Hoske(r)", "Hoskówna" or "Chosak" etc
"Battle" is most likely anglicized as well. Originally it could have been "Batl", "Bartel", "Batlewska" etc

The more little snippets you can find and supply here, the better .. especially because German research is not easy. Even the kids names are important because kids were often named after grandparents or siblings.

I have Robert Senior born 1826, then Robert his son born around 1848 prussia, british subject, then that Robert also had a son Robert battle.  The Battle family married into the Swinden family which is on my nans side of the family.

I have a newspaper article about Robert Senior - who attempted to commit suicide upon finding out his mother died was charged with trying to destroy himself tho this was discharged.  It describes him as Prussian by birth, married with children.  I dont know if Pole/Powell was his original name but I cant see why someone called Pole or Powell would change to Robert.  I did find a record for Emil - This is an Amil = tailor who is listed on one of the census's who is also one of Robert Seniors children but the trail goes cold for him.
1851 census there is Hannah and Robert and two children Pole and Porndia tho the actual census looks like Candice

1861 Robert Battle   35
Ann Battle   34
Powell Battle   12
Annal Battle   10 - Think the name is Emel/Emil as found another record later on in life for Emil Tailor - Says born Kingston Hull but cant find any record
James Battle   4 = Records found for James birth registration
Albert Battle   2 - Records found for Alberts birth registration

1871 Robert Buttle   45
Anna Buttle   40
James Buttle   15
Albert Buttle   11
Amel Buttle   20

1881 Just Hannah and Robert on the census

1901 Just Robert senior on the census

There was a travel abroad record for Robert senior
