Microfiche records on genealogy sites you can't get to see

I often see clues which align with a person in my tree and show the film entry and reference. How do you get to see the actual film record.
Example:

You used to order the fiche and view it it an LDS family history centre - much of it is online now at Family Search

And if it hasn't made it onto familysearch.org , then the local lds family history Centre can access it online through their computers

To see if it is on FamilySearch. Go to “catalogue”. Sorry “Catalog” 😀
Enter the film number in the appropriate box

If the result has a key above the camera icon you have to go to an affiliate library to view it
But if there is no key, start reading.

Unfortunately this film is 'locked' and you can only see the actual image at an LDS centre or 'affiliate library'. You could check your local library to see if it's available there - my local library is part of the bigger city library system, and they are deemed an 'affiliate library'.

The transcription from the Kent marriages film also gives them as both 'single' but no ages are transcribed, so it's possible they are not recorded on the entry. As this is before 1837, it's also unlikely there will be any fathers' names given either.

If you search the film number you have given for 'Mummary', there are 6 other records with that name.
A Thomas Mummary 29 Nov 1823, aged 62.
A John Mummary 1 March 1821, aged 39.
An Abigail Mummary 2 June 1833. aged 0.
and 3 marriages of Mummary girls, Elizabeth 1815, Sarah 1834 and Mary 1823.

The microfische may well be located at Kent Archives where you can book a Reader.

Certainly Manchester Archives have their microfische records available to view on a reader, same with Yorkshire Archives.

Hence the file in question may not be at a LDS center.

If you do go to a LDS centre couldn't you just look at it on findmypast?

There's an image of something on there in Kent Marriages and Banns, the transcript may not be perfect!
