Not sure, looking at the 1851 census - is that the one you mean? It has John born Norfolk Cranworth and Mary Ann in Norfolk Cranbrook. Possibly the enumerator made a mistake in confusing the two place names, they are in Hornchurch Essex, so the enumerator may not have known (or been able to understand their accent).

Another possiblity for Mary Ann in the 1861 is Hingham (5 miles from Carbrooke, though in the other direction from Shipdham). Spelt without the "H".
