O'Donnell's in Little Bolton

James J O'Donnell (junior), was born to James J and Catherine (Ballentyne/Ballentine) O'Donnell, in Little Bolton, April 27, 1881.  I'm told, the O'Donnell's resided at 12 Back Waterloo Street at the time of birth.  The O'Donnell's may have had one, or two additional children born, in England, prior to 1892.
James Sr (who was born in Lancashire, Oct 3, 1858, to Irish born parents, ) immigarated to the US in 1882.  Catherine (born Jul 12, 1858, in Newcastle Upon Tyne), with son James Jr., immigrated to the US in 1886.
Would love to know who all resided at 12 Back Waterloo in the 1881 and 1891 census (1891, thinking residents could be parents or siblings of James or Catherine); any leads as to who James and Catherine's parents/siblings might have been; marriage data on James and Catherine; birth/death info on any children of the couple; any information indicating which ship(s)/dates they immigrated on and to which port in US and/or Canada; or ANY other information.
I've hit a brick wall.

As per Lancashire BMD.  Catherine's maiden name was Valentine and she was b Liverpool (see sister in law on 1881 census entry)

Sorry for the late response (thank you).  My computer's been down.

Thank you all SO VERY MUCH!  Looks as though I've got a real mess to figure out here.  I'm being told, over and over, Catherine's last name was Ballentyne or Ballentine but, from what I'm seeing, it certainly appears her maiden name was, indeed,  VALENTINE.
 
Just got hold of a death certificate on Catherine.  Upon her death in 1920, her son (Dennis O'Donnell) provided Catherine's birth date as July 12, 1857 and her PARENTS to be  PATRICK BALENTINE and BRIDGET MCCABE.
Are there any record out there, showing a Patrick Valentine and Bridget McCabe marrying and/or having "at least" two children (Catherine and Ellen)?
I'm thinking them to have been born around 1835.

Being as I'm told Catherine Valentine/Ballentyne/Ballentine was born in Newcastle Upon Tyne, I'm guessing the Patrick and Bridget's immediate families may have been from around this same area.

I really appreciate your assistance !
