Fantastic, it is always good to see people connecting with their roots. I do admit to being more impressed by the sunny day...I must have missed that!  ???

I am visiting from the US and would love to see my 3xs great grandfather's grave.
I would also love to meet any distant relatives.
William McLennan married to Elizabeth Caddell is as far back as I have traced my family history in Scotland.
We will be in Glasgow on 16 &17th June 2025.
Your post has helped so much and has gotten me quite excited that we may actually find the grave stone.
We are here celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary.

Hi Leigha V I am the original poster and I am related through your 3x grt grandfather's brother Moses McLennan (1869-1926) who married/had children with Margaret Henderson (1873-1955) you need to reply then post once (3 posts) more to private mail (PM).
New members must make at least three postings before being allowed to use the PM facility.
Please note: If you are sending PMs to new members who have less than three posts you will receive an error message, that your limit, or allowed number has been reached. (note that it says your limit, although it actually refers to the recipient.)

Attachments are not allowed on PMs

As the name says, Personal Messages are personal and private - do not publish PMs on the public boards !

If you then PM i can pass on my Email to arrange a meet on monday or/and tuesday if that is what you would like. Garngad
PS please do not post email or contact numbers on this site/or post as they will be removed for privacy/security reasons.

@garngad
I would love to meet up on Monday or Tuesday.
That would be a lovely perk of our visit.

Click on the head-and-shoulders icon under the name of the person you want to send it to, and follow the link in their profile.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

Or click on the document icon, on the left, under their name.
It's green if they are online, white if they are offline.
