There is an interesting entry in the 1921. We aren’t supposed to give details
But the address is 74 Swan lane, Rotherhithe.

And same address in 1911

In 1901 that Dempsey family includes a daughter . Same address

Annie   Dempsey   Daughter   Single   Female   13   1888

And looking at the births of the children. MMN is BARRY
So this birth fits with the marriage Cas found

Thank you so much! That's just what I've been looking for - still puzzled as to why i can't find her marriage or any record of other than her sons births certificate in 1905 - so it seems she was living with her family or at least was there at the time of giving birth to her son in 1905. Maybe she didn't marry him? I'm not sure, i can't find her, her husband and son anywhere else.

I've seen it and now I've entered all that info in to my family tree it appears she married 3 times in 11 years as her first two husbands died only a couple of years after she married them (suspicious haha)

I found her on the 1911 census with her second husband Hughie Wallis and her daughter Lillie Wallis - on the census is also a George Wallis who is 5 years old so that will be George James Mead - theyve given him his stepdads surname although throughout his life his went by Mead.

That solves the other part of the mystery.
