Then tick Tithe map overlay , view apportionment .I'm not sure if this is the right place but worth a look.I've managed to find Owen Roberts now on the census for 1841 and 1851. He was born in Clynnog approx 1798 and was at Ty'n y Park from at least the time of when the tithe map was drawn up (1839) till his death in 1862. His wife was a Catherine born in Clynnog approx 1795. Need to see how it went from Richard Jones in late 1700s to be in the hands of Owen Roberts. I'm thinking if the date of births arent 100% accurate, Catherine (Owen Roberts wife) may be the daughter born in 1797? Anyways thanks for all the help so far, and the pointers to some really good sites! Thanks for that, I am seeing the occupier as an Owen Roberts, with landowner Anna Evans. I think its dated 1839. Would you know if the tithe maps go back further than 1839?

Quote from: hanes teulu on Wednesday 28 February 24 13:52 GMT (UK) Burials Parish of Clynnog, Caernarvon - 1817Richard Jones, abode Parc, Buried 20 Feb, age 76Yes, just seen that I think I've also found possibly his wife Mary - who died in Parc in 1846, aged 97. Trying to link either one of these two to the Owen Edwards family who I'm guessing took over the farm. I've found a Richard Jones born in 1741 in Clynnog to a John Prichard and Anne Griffiths. Which looks promising. I'm struggling on getting the right Mary (his wife), who (if the 97 y/o one is correct) would have been born in 1749. The only marriage i can find that fits the bill would be one in Aber-erch in 1777 - which would make her a Mary Roberts. Not quite sure why they would marry there though? Having the name Roberts and now finding out that an Owen Roberts occupied the farm adds a bit of mystery !!!
