The Goodman sons are confusing - there were three on an early census, Owen, Franklin both same age, and Robert. Then later there was Oliver (error?) and Robert, and later referred to as Owen Franklin - so perhaps there were only ever two sons not three. Owen and Robert shown as stepsons to Raymond J Plunkett. So presumably John=Owen. Confusing family and it doesn't help a jot with Ivy's origins at all.

Thanks too for the Plunkett obit. So he was connected with the lumber business.
Still need to find Ivy on a 1910 and 1900 census - I've tried various wild cards in case her surname was mispelled or misheard but nothing. There are a few William Caldwells, including one with a daughter Ivy but turns out not her.
