Only after 5 April 2005 and only for the Army. Since the OP was asking specifically about the Royal Navy (or more probably the Royal Marines), then this almost certainly won't be a reference to any kind of regiment.

Royal Navy barracks Chatham closed in 1984.
Special Reconnaissance Regiment was established in 2005.
A date for the document is needed and the trade of the person (seaman, stoker, cook etc.)
