I have a SPEIGHT family living in Wath-Upon-Dearne in the West Riding of Yorkshire and working as colourist and chemist in that Pottery.
This led me to my Dodson line of farmers, which then led me to the Domesday book and several mentions of a DODA (Dodson = Son of Doda)
