Searching for Agnes Cairns birth record

Hi There
I was searching for Agnes Cairns birth record. I know she was born around 1856-58 in Stockton-On Tees in Durham England but no birth record. I came across an Agnes Keirnan born in Blackhill, Durham England. Could this be a possibility in variation of the surname? I'm just intersted as she is a distant link to my DNA matches. Look forward to your reply.

Failure to register a birth only became a fineable offence in 1874 so it isn't unusual to be unable to find a record prior to that date

From DNA matches in their family trees. Multiple sources but none have the record.

Sorry for any confusion. I was not aware that Cairns had so many variations. A lot of the replies proved that! Cairns-Keirnan-Kearns. I appreciate the feedback.
