Daniel and Susanna had the following children baptised in Bristol
William 1804
Daniel 1808
Samuel 1810

These boys are living next to each other in 1851

1841 census Saint George (ages rounded)

Susannah Flook 76
Phoebe 50
Sarah 15
William 38    - Gardner
Charlotte 44
William 10
Mary 7.

Phoebe is the daughter of Charles and Susannah she marries Joseph Maggs widower on 26 January 1856. He was 46 years old she was a spinster age 50 .
William is her son and his wife Charlotte nee Porter and their children William bap. 12 December 1830 possibly married Mary Clark 17 November 1856, and Mary Ann bap 23 Feb 1834 possible marriage to William Dyke 16 April 1871 both were 38 years old.
Not sure who the 15 year old Sarah is.

Susannah Flook dies 1849 age 86.

For the poster original question.

1841 census Kingswood, Saint George

Daniel 60 leather dealer
Sarah 45
Daniel 20
John 20
Harriet 15
Samuel 12

This is the Daniel son of Aaron with his 2nd wife Sarah nee Demmery married 23 July 1816 by license. Witness was Aaron Flook probably his brother.

William Flook was born 1804 son of Daniel - a coal miner and Susannah so this Daniel cannot be a son of Aaron.

amondg, must admit to having "lost the plot" with this post. Who do you believe are the parents of Daniel his father.

Working on it, there are so many families who all named their children the same names.

The wills posted show Daniel, Abraham and Moses are brothers, they are cordwainers or leather dealers and sons of Aaron who was a coal miner he actually owned the mine.

The following are the children of Aaron and Hannah/Ann found so far.

Stephen bap 11 October 1770  buried 20 December 1776

Susannah bap 13 December 1772  married  ? Jones - will of Aaron

Joseph bap 13 November 1774  died 1849   - possible marriage to Dinah

Mary bap 30 June 1776 buried 29 December 1776  (9 days after brother Stephen)

Daniel circa 1778/1779  based on census age of 71 in 1851 and will of Aaron, he listed the male children in order of birth. (2nd wife Sarah Demmery)

Stephen bap 14 May 1780 he died December 1833
I found an article in the Gloucester Chronicle dated 7 December 1833, he was returning home from the Packet Office and was struck by a horse and carriage that did not stop, he managed to get home where he lingered for a few days before succumbing to his injuries.

Benjamin bap 15 July 1781  --

Moses bap 15 August 1784  died 1855

Abraham bap 2 February 1786  died 1833 married Esther per his will.

Isaac bap 15 April 1787 buried 5 February 1790

Jacob bap 20 July 1788 buried 4 March 1794

Hannah bap 24 October 1791  died 1806

Martha bap 17 March 1793 buried 13 October 1803.

ADDED Need to look for more wills local rather than PCC Wills.

Thanks to everyone for your responses to my question. Sorry to have delayed answering, but I was out of town unexpectedly. I was very mistaken in connecting my Daniel with the Aaron and Hannah line and I asked the moderator to remove that post. Here is some information I have on my Flook family in England that I hope will be helpful.

A Certified Copy of an Entry in Marriage for William Flook and Mary Clark gives their signatures as "X" their mark. The marriage took place in the Chapel of Stapleton Palace (Stapleton had been the Bishop's residence or "Palace") in the parish of Stapleton in the registration district of Clifton on November 17, 1856. Witnesses were William Fox and Mary Tiley and the document gives her signature as "X" 'his' mark.

1861 Census of England The Flook family lived at 71 Clay Hill. William Flook was a laborer/gardener, age 30, with wife Mary age 27, born Somerset and daughter, Eliza age 2 born St. George, Glouchester (from the 1861[page28 ED 10 SRD The Clifton RSD The Saint George Sub-District on GS5 42858] )  The daughter, Mary, did not appear on the census.  The census is usually taken around that time in April in England.  So, I would think she was born after the census was taken. There were other Flook families in the area. Researcher:  Susan G. Lovins, 1047 E. Beverly Way, Bountiful, UT 84010 from research done at the LDS Library, Salt Lake City, UT.

In 1871:  William Flook head mar 41 laborer St. Georges, Glouc. Mary wife mar 38 hawker with vegetables St. Georges, Glouc. Eliza daur 12 St. Georges, Glouc. Mary daur 10 St. Georges, Glouc. Hannah daur 7 St. Georges, Glouc. Louisa daur 5 St. Georges, Glouc. George son 2 St. Georges, Glouc. Thomas son 4 mo. St. Georges, Glouc. Lovins, 1047 E. Beverly Way, Bountiful, UT 84010 from research done at the LDS Library, Salt Lake City, UT,   Letter dated 16 April 1989

In 1881: William Flook was 50, Mary Flook, his wife was 45 Mary Perkins was 19 and living with her parents at Johnny Crows Lane 1 Cossens road, St. George, Bristol, Glouchester. George Flook (age 14), Thomas Flook (age 11), Frederick Flook (age 6),Elizabeth Flook (age 5) and Charlotte Flook (age 2) were also living with their parents at the same address. Mary Perkins first son, William Perkins, was in his first year of life in his Grandparent's house.  William Flook was born in St. George. Mary Flook was born in Frome, Somerset. All their children and their one grandchild at that time were born in St. George. From an email by Maxine Flook of Manchester, England MaxineF@ kssg.comand maxine.flook@redhotant.net dated 12 Sep 2000

Many people list the wife of William Flook as Mary Ann Lake from a marriage entry in 1853.  On examination, the entry includes Mary Ann Lake among others, but the William Flook (b. abt. 1833) marriage is actually to Sarah Poole and this William Flook is another person entirely . In the 1871 Wales Census William and Sarah are living in Wales. The William Flook who is our ancestor married Mary Clark 17th november 1856 at Stapleton Holy Trinity Church and they are shown as living in Bristol.  Some people compound the error by mixing information on the families including children and burials.
