It looks like the possible birth date of 1728 is calculated from his age at death

"Robert Everson buried 28 Nov 1794 age 66 Bentley St Mary"

Thanks Jenny, that's really useful.

Yes, the notes that I have are that "all of their children were baptised, married or buried in Bentley", but checking and verifying any of that, let alone trying to work back prior to Robert (which would be amazing) is going to be quite a task.

Will take a trip to Bentley to see if I can find any gravestones. Only a small place, so I'm hoping that an old graveyard can throw up something.
