Anita, Etienne's wife , and all the children were born in Tonnay-Charente .
Albert does not live any longer with his parents in 1926 rue de Verdun in Tonnay-Charente ( different from Tonnay-Boutonne).

I think Albert's job was employé de commerce  ( commercial employee). I can't say where he worked, the employer block is empty .

There's a tree with Albert and parents  and kins on geneanet.
Enter Albert Jouaud ( not Jouault) and charente- maritime in the département block.

Thanks everyone. I think Employé is most likely. I have seen the family tree on Geneanet, it belongs to a relative of mine. I have quite a lot of info about them, birth death and marriage certs etc. I was just intrigued by this job title. His father Etienne worked for Renault Delage I now see, which is still an import / export company in nearby La Rochelle ,another little snippet to add to my family info

Many thanks all
