EARL STEPHENSON
« on: Thursday 10 August 23 12:03 BST (UK) »
I'm searching for information on my great uncle earl Stephenson.
I know that he was born in1885 to George and Elizabeth Stephenson in north Yorkshire.
I also know that he was a Liverpool pal and he fought in the battle of the Somme.

What i don't know is how or why he was in Liverpool?  I don't know if he was married or if he had a
family of his own ?.

I do know that he was the youngest of six children .

Any information would be appreciated

He was married in Formby on August 7th 1909. At that time he was a farm labourer resident in Deansgate Lane in Formby.

Formby is on the Lancashire coast between Liverpool and Southport.

The 1921 has Sarah with her three sons and a boarder but not her husband Earl.  Might have still been with the army then.
