1939 primary schools

Trying to find the nearest primary schools near Terrace Place Newcastle upon Tyne and is there any access to names of the children who where evacuated from that area.
Any help much appreciated

You would have to approach the local Education Authority who might have the school’s attendance rolls.
Not sure if schools ever keep their own but if it still exists a slight chance the rolls are still there.
The evacuation rolls were very important as children went far from home to complete strangers ,how hard that must have been for  children and parents alike.Parents could visit ,not sure if train fares were paid by the Government as many would not have been able to afford to pay.
They are historical documents now, part of our country’s history.

Looking at this map from 1921 (a later one in 1945 shows the same) the nearest school was on Leazes Lane, with the next nearest (in the other direction) at Snow St/ Douglas Terrace

The 1936 Ward's Directory Whitley Bay, Tynemouth, North and South Shields, Jarrow, Wallsend, Newcastle upon Tyne has the following likely info for the two locations:

Council Schools
Snow St (J.H. Tweddle, master, Miss M.H. Bell, infants mistress)
Douglas Terrace

Non-provided Schools
St Andrew's C.E. (J. H. Chantler M.Sc., master,
Miss M.H. Youngson, infants mistress) Leazes Lane

according to that page, pupils from St Andrew's C.E. were evacuated to the Wigton area in Cumberland and those from Snow St to the Windermere area
