Grave Marker Help Please.
« on: Tuesday 11 July 23 15:31 BST (UK) »
Can anyone help with this grave marker please. I would like to be able to find information in order to trace living relatives. Would the man be RAF? The quality isn't great, but I scanned them at a high resolution. I can see Sharp and Logan and possibly 1942.
Thanks for looking.

I'm not 100% certain but they appeared to be the most likely when I searched, just using the surname and then showing 100 results at a time did  a CTRL F and used the last few digits of the service no. to see if anything possible came up.

The fact they were in the same Sqdn and died the same day in 1942 does seem to lend a bit of weight to it being the correct ones

Yes I think so, the service numbers tally too, and the guy in the photo was most likely to be from the same squadron.
Thanks again.  :-*

Added: John Kay Sharp was from Hull where I bought the photos from.

Thanks once again, you have been a great help! I am passionate about the RAF as my Son is a Flight Sergeant, (Air Crew) as an Interpreter and shows a great interest in the RAF photos that I buy.
