I wonder if you could decipher the attacked entry of my Gt Grandfather, I'm not sure if he was sick or wounded?

The words after SGH are Stirchley Birmingham which throws some doubt over Shaun's explanation for SGH. Possibly Stirchley General Hospital?

There is a 1916 newspaper reference to a soldier receiving the Military Medal who is at "1st Southern General Hospital, Stirchley Section, Birmingham"
