This Harry with same date of birth appears in 1939 war register in Hammersmith and Fulham. His occupation "Water Tube Boiler Erector". Also recorded is he is "Married"

I have found a Harry Warner in 1938 Hammersmith & Fulham in 1938 electoral register but seemingly no wife present. I think by looking at others present on the 1939 register he may have been from "up north" working on an installation of some nature"

If this is your man then it narrows down any possible marriage c1920-1939.

Apologies for the very late reply, thanks again John, Almost all of the above tie in with what I have, I had a note for Harry, a possible marriage in 1938 to a Linda M Thomas in Preston

Although I couldn’t find a death for her I would be suprised if harry had divorced!
I remember (although I was young lad) Ida and Harry were very kind people and every (older) relative commented on what a gentleman Harry was, I was told they both worked at ICI in Billingham, they had no children which makes finding information on them harder, I would like to document their history if possible.

I think that you may find the people named in that 1938 Preston marriage on the 1939 register in Preston.  That Harrys wife died in 1921 (Alice Breakel) they had a son a year earlier who is living with a Harry and Linda Warner in 1939

On the notes I had was Linda M Thomas and a Jane Breakell, I'm not saying either are my Harry wife and I can'tremeber how I came across that information now.
Unfortunately I'm not very good at this and I don't have a sub to any of the pay sites at the moment, I do appreciate everyones help

Added - I do know Harry was born

10.2.1904 died 10.5.1999.

Interesting. There are 2 1939 war register entries for Harry Warner born 10.2.1904. One record of birth date is crossed out and replaced by dob 3.1.1914. There is a birth of a Harry Warner born 5.1.1914 in Guildford Surrey parents George and Annie, he appears with parents and siblings in 1921 census. I am wondering if when records were used by NHS whether there has been a mistake re alterations to the records?
