Bernard Percy Smith DOB 15.11.1904
« on: Sunday 18 June 23 17:09 BST (UK) »

Have just found some notes from my Cousins files regarding Bernard above.

It seems he enlisted into the RAF when he was 18 in 1923

His Service Number 355009 ? -

I knew my Uncle way back in 1950's when he stayed with my Parents before going to Australia, but was never aware of his Military connections.

Can anyone fill in with details of his Service records?

He would probably have served his agreed time, or maybe left earlier because he had incurred a serious Motoring accident which left him with an impaired leg
.
Thanks

Bernard

I'm researching: O'Connor, Connor, Rea, Smith, Skilton

Royal Air Force airmen's service records for the period 1912-1939 can be found on Findmypast, as explained on the National Archives website.
