I came across a marriage in 1850 Blackrock, Cork was listed as John J Leahy but there was no details of date, church ,parents, so not sure if it's them. Can anyone shed any more light on this please.
thanks

I would think that they married around the time of their first born child. You say that this is John b 1837.
Ancestry gives the date as 20th November 1837 but searching for this in Catholic NLI ddn’t work.
However, if you look at this double page, the first entry is August 1st and the bottom of the  facing page is John’s entry.

As I mentioned before, there are various gaps and, as I have just found, incomplete records and indexes.

may i ask if any sense of Sarah Leahy, Lacey, Leary etc married Laurence/Lawrence/Lorcan Duffy around 1830 and had a son James Joseph Duffy 1832/33 (known) before either or all left for Cobourg Ontario Canada.? Possibly Monoghan region or Enniskillen region.

thanks from Toronto; Greg
