Ellen Smith, Co. Monaghan

I was wondering if anyone might be able to help break down a brick wall in a family tree please.
I have an Ellen Smith born about 1851. According to an old photograph and family tales she was born in Co. Monaghan, married a John McCaughley from Lurgan, Co. Armagh area about 1882, lived in Lurgan area and died and was buried there in March 1925.
I am trying to discover who her parents and siblings, if any, were and where in Co. Monaghan she was from. Any help would be appreciated.

Family in 1901 census which gives a place of birth of Co. Armagh for Ellen.

1911 census gives Co Cavan as her birthplace:

Note that they married c 1881 according to the 1911 census and only 2 children still alive. Can’t see  a marriage for the couple.

Hi Elwyn Soutter. I have come across some of these details before but thanks for those I didn't have.
Derrytrasna/Montiaghs are close to Lurgan where she is buried. It may be that the area she was born was born in Co. Cavan although the old photo states Co. Monaghan, Perhaps they are close by.

Thanks heywood for that marriage detail.
I have come across the name Ellen McAtamney in the past but it would appear she and her family are from Northern Ireland and that is what has been causing the confusion.

Yes, I saw in at least one tree, those censuses details with the marriage - strange is ‘t it.
The tree also had the death and headstone.

Ellen from that marriage has a different age to the one in the censuses and death.

What do you know about John?
