Hi

I did have that info, but thanks for doing that. Much appreciated. I am trying to find more info on his parents by looking at the 1841 or 1851 census. If only they didn't live in London!

Thanks,

Mark

Hello Mark

I'm doing a bit of housekeeping and noticed this older request.  Wondering if you are still looking for anything on this topic or you have resolved it in the meantime?

If we don't hear from you in a while, I'll assume the latter and move it to the 'completed' section.

Hello Mark.
This conversation was years ago, I know, but I've just come across it and I know you are still active on Rootschat.
Thornton was my Great Great uncle. I can go back to his 3g Grandfather Thomas Chapman 1685 - 1781 if you are still interested.

Where do you fit in?

Best regards

This was my mother-in-law's family tree. Would be fascinated to hear more, I certainly didn't get that far back with the Chapmans. If I remember rightly Thornton Chapman had a daughter Alice Thornton Chapman whose son Bernard Thornton Cole was my mother-in-law's father!

Would be happy to send you what I have.
