Help with look up for 9th G Grandmother from Tarn France
« on: Sunday 21 May 23 14:41 BST (UK) »
Hi everyone. I thought the time to stop Family research had been and gone , but no. I was wondering if anyone familiar with French records could help me with a look up?. My 9th  G Grandmother was a Marie d' Amalvy born 1625 in Tarn France . I know this is a long way back but i am still curious and Marie is still worthy of research i think. If possible i would like to know about her lineage . I know her Husband was Pierre de Bonafous . Also , "Was the Bonafous Family a renouned one in Tarn?". Some Families have interesting stories . I appreciate any support thanks.

Only just seen this! The families you were talking about were Huguenot Protestants who ended up in London?  Do you have anything more precise than Tarn for their origins as the names seem to pop up elsewhere and to try and find church records it would be a lot easier to know which town or village to start looking in and maybe which denomination to start narrowing it down... There seems to be a connection to Jacob de Rouffignac?
