Cyprus Death Certificates

Does anyone have advice  for contacting Cyprus to get a death certificate?
      Long story but a friend needs to get a copy of her husbands death cert (2008)
    we have sent email to relevant authority, but no response after a week, so we may have been given the wrong details.
