I wondering if anyone can help me?
I'm travelling to Dublin in the next couple of weeks and would like to research my Irish ancestors, is there anywhere I can go in person to look at the certificates, just like new registry house in Edinburgh

New Register House has a whole range of resources in the one location. It’s not the same in Ireland where the records are spread across the National Archives, National Library, Valuation Office, Registry of Deeds and the GRO. But if you want statutory certificates then this is the address:

Note that they do not have any records for Northern Ireland after 1.1.1922. They are held by GRONI in Belfast.

Do you have any idea what you are looking for regarding dates and locations? Many of the vital records are online (free)-

You haven't said exactly what sort of information you are hoping to find so difficult to give more precise help. If it is purely vital records (births, marriages, deaths) then the link I posted earlier will allow you to see what certificates are online (free). Births, deaths & Catholic marriages are from 1864 and non-Catholic marriages, including Registry Office ones, from 1845.
Vital records are under registration districts. See this link to see all districts in Ireland, which ones march each other, etc.-

If you are looking in a certain area or townland then this link will help find the registration district usually the same as the Poor Law Union)-

Be aware that spelling of surnames and placenames can vary widely, The above link allows you to search part of a word, townland in a parishes and other variations which can be helpful.
