The son who arrived in Rio was my grandfather. And then moved to Argentina where he met my grandmother where we now live.
I know his sister Edith continued to live in London and she had no children oh we own.

I think neither children had a good relationship with Robert Cox's new wife Augusta. Do you know who was living with the Cadge grandparents and at what point in time?

I have no further information regarding whether they had more children (Robert and Augusta).

I have come to the same conclusions as you have. Edith Elizabeth Cadge's death date (1905) is prior, but I assume his christening could have possibly been delayed, as he is assumed to be born in 1906 (my mother remembers vaguely that she possibly died in childbirth).
I too find the same record suspecting his death at 33years of age.

Do you have any records of Robert Cox and Augusta Furber having had children themselves?

Do you have any records of Robert Cox and Augusta Furber having had children themselves?

Augusta was single and age 25 when they married on 16 Mar 1907 (m/c available to view on Anc*y)

1911 census indicates 4 years married no children.

Can’t see any obvious Cox/Furber children on FreeBMD or GRO indexes.

Robert & Augusta are on 1939 register and there is one redacted entry  ???

Edith Elizabeth Cadge's death date (1905) is prior, but I assume his christening could have possibly been delayed, as he is assumed to be born in 1906 (my mother remembers vaguely that she possibly died in childbirth).

His birth was registered Mar 1906 Mile End Old Town, his Baptism Jan 1906, so he was probably born Dec 1905 and his mother Edith’s death Dec qtr. 1905 Mile End Old Town.
His birth certificate would confirm his exact date of birth and Edith’s death certificate would confirm reason for death, as mentioned previously you can get digital images from GRO indexes of these records.

You have been very helpful.

I am also attempting to go further back.

I have for a fact that John r (Russell?) Cox 1837-1913 Married Sarah Willis 1840-1911

Johns parents seem to be Henry Cox 1811-? and Ann Hanging/Anning? 1814, but I can't say for a fact.

Regarding Sarah I have a potential Edward A. Wilils 1809-? and Ann ??? as potential parents.

Do you have any info regarding them?
Thanks
